Hi - is there anybody who has an ide where to put the ignition module elsewhere than behind the frontlight ? I am building a husaberg Lampenmaske on my husky 610 bj 1996, but there is not enough space for the ignition module, because of the front lamp..... does anybody have some ideas ? thanks in advance :-)

hi jesper,

i had  a husqvarna 350TE with the same problems like u.

i build a mounting plate out of aluminium strips, which holded the front light 10 cm away from the frame.
so i had enough space to place the ignition module.

If that won't do it, you could also try to transplant all the stuff in the backbone of the frame, under the tank.

Do you have a separate coil and CDI ??

On my '94 I am pretty sure there was just a coil up there and the rest was related to lighting (12V regulator, blinker relais)
The coil was located in the backbone under the tank. It's very small and tight space though, so fitting additional things there might be hard to impossible.

thank you for your answers   :)

- the CDI and the coil are separeted... the mainly challenge is where to put the CDI - I have thought about placing, like you say, under the tank (like husaberg) but there isnt space enough. And placing it beneath the seat, might come to close to the exhaust (dobbel exhaust) , where the pipe to the rigth exhaust goes through the frame.... do you know if the CDI are sensitive to heat?
