Husqvarna - Forum

Hello everyone I am new here Im from Finland and I currently live in Germany , oberstdorf. I love husqvarna bikes I had wr125r and 250r now its time to have a bigger dual sport bike where I can use on %70 offroad %30 street. I dont know which bikes are street legal and can be used on the traffic without any problems and I like big looking view and having a monster between your legs feel better. So what you can recommend me ? Budget is max 7000 €. Im sorry but I dont know German guys....

Hi there in Oberstdorf and welcome here in our forum.

I´m very happy with my TE 511 It has street-legal 43hp that can be increased by another (race-) mapping
and the ACRAPOVIC slip on. I use it for 99% off road. Within the next weeks I will mount the Sumo-wheels that I
bought with that bike and try street riding with it.
Service interval for the 449 and 511 bikes is every 5000 Km. The bike is based on the BMW G 450 and spare
parts should be no big problem ... The 449 and 511 models are nearly the same. The 511 has 30cc more.
If you´re happy with the (strange) appearance of that bike I would say, it´s a good choice. You´ll also find lots of
informations in the american Cafe Husky forum. To the other duals I can´t say
much because I hardly know them ...
