Nur 1. ung 2. gang fungieren.. gearproblems..

Hi ..

Ich habe die Steuerkette gewechselt. Das motor lauft einwandfrei aber nur 1. und 2. gang fungiert.. aber wehn das motor nicht laufen fungieren aller gänge????


in english - my german sucks..

After having changed the camchain I'm having gearproblems.
When the engine is running it's only 1. and 2. gear that works, it won't change into 3 and further up..

But if the engine isn't running everything seems to work perfectly...


Any ideas anyone????

Hello,
have you eventually opened the screw downside the engine, to let the oil run, where the ball and spring is in?
If the washer has not the correct measure (thickness), this could be the problem with the gears.
Otherwise I can not explain it, camchain changing has no influence to the gear.

I found the problem..

Apperently, the spring for the shiftfork (das geder für die schaltklinke) wasn't in correctly. I must have pushed it, then I removed the cover..
